With all staff and students in the same district Gmail domain, it is important that you double check who you are sending email to when typing in a name. Google uses an auto-populate feature which is very beneficial but if you get in a hurry and don’t double check the name you might accidentally end up sending an email meant for a staff member to a student or to the wrong student. We also have some staff members with the exact same first and last names and only distinguished by their middle initial. We have encouraged those staff members to add their building initials to a Google+ profile to help with this issue. But, ultimately it is the responsibility of the sender to ensure they send email to the person they intended to send to.
